Girls of all levels of experience and their families are invited. There will be touch rugby games and various fun activities from 6-7 followed by a gathering in the Clubhouse to meet the coaching team, hear from existing players and find out more about plans for the further development of girls rugby at Heath. The new Clubhouse is under construction and is due to open in the autumn, which is a hugely exciting development for girls rugby, the club as a whole and the wider community.

Girls do not need any special kit - just sportswear and football boots or trainers - and all who attend will receive a free gift of a rugby ball and various other goodies!

For a long time one of the leading rugby clubs for mini and junior rugby in the South East, Heath now has a thriving girls section and next year will have three girls only teams at Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s. Our Under 12s this year were crowned Sussex and Worthing National 10s champions while our Under 14s also won their Sussex league. Many of our players in these fantastic teams were beginners a year ago and got into rugby via events like these, summer touch rugby and our full day Rugby Camp (this year taking place on Wednesday 28th August).

HHRFC has hosted multiple tag rugby festivals for primary school and have supported a number of schools with their after school rugby clubs. We are also at the South of England Show all three days this year - 7, 8 & 9 June - so if you are visiting drop by our stand and find out more about Girls Rugby at Heath. We know there is a huge amount of talent and potential in Mid Sussex and would like to welcome more players and families to find out more about our rapidly growing girls section.
