To make it more challenging, we gave 4 of some of our strongest players to Uckfield for the day (Takhy, Harrison, Alex and Evan). We had a mixed team to compete against really strong A teams, including Eastbourne (East Sussex champs).

The squad players had to adapt to each other and start off on the right foot - they knew it was going to be tough, but that would not phase them.

The squad played with a lot of intelligence against Shoreham and made them do all the work. Against Crowborough they had to dig deep for the win and to hold on for the final whistle. Undefeated all day, we came 2nd overall by the slimmest margin - Eastbourne had scored one more try than us. A great end to their mini careers.

The squad played very exciting rugby and are now ready for the junior years ahead.
